FLOORCLOTHS ~ Painted canvas rugs have their roots in stenciled cloth game boards, playing cards, religious prints, and table covers of the 1400's; but until the 1700's textiles were considered too precious to be used on floors. The first American settlers, made floor coverings out of their worn sails from ships, when carpets were unavailable.
GOAT ON ROOF floorcloths are individually painted by Brooke Baumann ~ only the highest quality materials have been used to ensure many years of use.
